Welcome to Eden......
on beautiful Twofold Bay

Eden...the name gives rise to all manner of imagery particularly in regard to scenes of nature's beauty.

The townsfolk and business people of this aptly named coastal village readily agree that theirs is indeed a region rich in such beauty and welcome all to join in a holiday experience.

Situated on the shores of spectacular Twofold Bay, reputedly the third deepest natural harbour in the world, Eden township was founded on both the bygone whaling era and the fishing industry.

See the sights....

Visitors are encouraged to 'get out and about' exploring the many bush walking trails, forest drives, unspoilt beaches and historic sites.

Whales fill a large part of Eden's history. Whale Watching is an experience of a lifetime and there's possibly nowhere better to view these leviathans than from Twofold Bay where the humpback whales gather each spring before crossing Bass Strait on their southerly migration.

These passers-by come so close to shore that special viewing platforms have been constructed with unobstructed views over both the northern and southern folds of the bay.

We'll tell you where to go....
politely of course!!

Eden Gateway Centre is the perfect starting-off point for your vacation. Located at the roundabout, corner of the Princes Highway and Mitchell Street (facing Mitchell Street), the Centre has all the information required to discover the many faces of Eden and Sapphire Coast.

Book your accommodation, fishing charter, sea kayak adventures or Twofold Bay cruise, obtain maps of the surrounding National Parks, access a huge amount of information on the 24-hour Datatrax touchscreen or meet the friendly staff who will assist your every holiday need.

The Eden Chamber of Commerce welcome you, your family and friends to 'Eden....a natural paradise'
